Located in a peaceful summer vacation neighborhood, this renovated and updated summer home overlooking Ash Island and the Mussel Ridge Channel is a perfect vacation retreat. It sits a gently sloping 300 feet from a beautiful rocky beach which is perfect for launching a kayak or taking a leisurely walk.
Tastefully furnished to provide a comfortable Maine ocean cottage experience. The lower level of the property has been finished to include a pool table, entertainment room, and a bunk bed room, making it an ideal retreat for younger people and families alike.
A large wrap-around deck surrounds the main level providing ample panoramic views of the ocean. It also includes an outdoor dining area which is perfect for enjoying a traditional Maine lobster dinner. Also included is a gas grill for a summer barbeque.
This property has a large yard and offers many opportunities for outdoor activities. A wood burning fire pit is available, as are beach chairs to carry down to the rocky beach. For the sandy-beach lovers, beautiful Birch Point Beach State Park is a short 3 miles away and is easily accessible by car, bike, foot or kayak. Crocketts Beach and Crescent Beach area also great sandy, Owls Head beaches to check out.

BEACH CLASSIFICATION: We have categorized this property as having or being near a sandy beach. More specifically for this property - it is a short 5 minute drive to three great area beaches. The closest is Crockett`s Beach, but also Birch Point Beach State Park and Crescent Beach are other public beaches within 5 minutes of the property. There is not an actual usable sandy beach at this property, but the nearby beaches are great for kids and that is why we have classified it as being on or in this case - near sandy beaches.
