| | | Our group of 8-ladies had worked hard all-year at various events with our Senior Citizens Group and when one suggested a Lake Tahoe getaway, we all joined in. The Kings Beach Home was just delightful. Large yard with a large and bubbling Hot Tub and fresh mountain air was just the ticket to get one ready for a delightful and restful sleep, and each of us had our own beds! It was a treat to walk just two blocks down to the Lakeside park, one of the few place where the public has access right to the waters of the Lake, with picnic tables. We spent time in the charming Village of King’s Beach and enjoyed having lunch there. Dinner time was a fun potluck of everyone’s favorite recipes & we all groaned when we finally push ourselves away from the table. Some of us had the energy for a game of cards in front of the fireplace and some gathered around the piano and sang some of the good old songs. The 3-days went way to fast, but we all enjoyed ourselves and have promised to come back! |
