There is a comfortable king bed in the master loft, two twins in the guest bedroom downstairs which can also be set up as a king bed, a new queen sleeper sofa, a queen air mattress (a good one), and a pack n play style portable crib. The owner`s family knows the value of a good night`s sleep and so you will enjoy one-in our high quality linens too!

Check in 3 PM. Check out 10 AM. Early/late arrivals and departure may be available for your stay at a cost of $50.
Cleaning fee is $150. We expect our vacation rental guests to do very little, since this is your vacation after all. We ask you to empty the refrigerator, take out the trash, clean and put away your dishes, and strip the linens. That`s it. If you have an early departure or want things even easier, we provide a worry free express check out service for $30. Our vacation home is cleaned and prepared for each guest, and regularly deep cleaned and inspected. Our linens are professionally laundered. Your beach condo will be stocked with basic starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and guest soap. We are environmentally responsible and leave things like bulk coffee, sugar, flour, spices, condiments behind from one guest to another rather than throwing these away. We also supply reusable grocery bags and encourage you to use them for all your shopping needs.
We believe in an open calendar, and are one of the very few vacation rentals at North Coast Village that allows arrivals and departures on any day of the week (except a few holidays) year round. We are also one of the few North Coast Village vacation rentals that welcome guests to stay as few as 3 nights year round. There is a discount for weekly stays.
There is no security deposit, instead we collect a non refundable damage waiver that covers accidental damages up to $1500 during your stay. Guests must report damage for this coverage to apply.
No Pets are allowed at North Coast Village.
25% deposit required at reservation; balance due 60 days prior to arrival.
Trip insurance is recommended for those concerned about cancellation and it costs 7% of the non refundable portions of your trip. Our cancellation policy: we retain 25% if you cancel with greater than 60 days before your stay, and we retain 100% if you cancel closer to your stay. We will try to work with you to reschedule your stay at no extra charge within 1 year.
This is a vacation rental by owner who is also a professional and licensed vacation rental property manager. We do not live on site, but do live locally. North Coast Village HOA provides a 24/7/365 patrol service and a check in service from 3-5 M-Sa. All other check ins are accomplished via patrol. Please keep in mind that these folks do not work directly for us. There is no on site management, though we do have service people who can respond quickly.
Taxes are currently: 10% transient occupancy tax and 1.5% tourism marketing district fee. These taxes are collected and paid on all rentals of fewer than 30 nights with the exception of military and government personnel on official business. All tax waivers (for longer stays and military/government) require completion of City of Oceanside forms at the time of reservation.

| | | Wonderful location right on the ocean
This was our first time renting a condo rather than a hotel. Being in the hotel industry, I'm quite familiar with hotels and do greatly enjoy the comforts of home they offer, but this condo was like a hotel on steroids!
Our unit had a beautiful view right off the balconies and the one off the master bedroom was used frequently for breakfast and late night relaxing.
There was no a/C which was a point of concern for me, but sleeping was wonderful with the sliding doors open and within 5 minutes, no matter what time of day we returned to the condo, it cooled quickly with the windows & sliding doors open. The temperatures right near the ocean were moderate and the breezes fantastic.
All the comforts of home were available including full kitchen, pools, hot tubs etc. It was great! We had a small problem with the TV as the directions available were not for that particular setup, but it was handled quickly with a phone call from the owners... |

| | | A great beach view place to stay
My family and I have vacationed at North Coast Village for several years, and think it provides the best beachfront vacation experience on the Southern California coast. The location, the view, the amenities, and the people make it a great place for a summer stay.
We have rented several different units over the years, but this is our favorite. We love the two story layout, the flat screen TV, the view, and the wireless internet access. The unit is well positioned in the complex and is furnished nicely. We have found the unit owner to be very positive to work with and give both her and the unit a very high recommendation.
One word of warning, make sure you park in the designated spot. We had a difficult time reading the number after dark on one visit and ended up having a car towed away. That did take a bit of the fun out of the trip, but was our fault for not looking a little closer (the paint indicating the space number had faded considerably) |

Very nicly appointed condo so close to the beach you can enjoy the sound of the surf! The condo was a hit with our kids and the upstairs master suite with it's own balcony was a great adult retreat. We could sit out on the balcony and watch the kids enjoy the beach. Don't miss the Thursday night street fair down the block! Bring your swim suits, stock the fridge and relax. We had tweens and teens and they all found something to enjoy; the beach, pool, game room, the harbor shops next door or the pier a short skate board away.

| | | Great accommodations; great view . We are repeat customers at Pelican Place, which is the third unit we have rented at North Coast Village. This two-level facility features a second level master suite with a walk-in closet and a large deck overlooking the ocean. There is also a main level balcony with an ocean view that is a great place for morning coffee, lunch and happy hour. There are TVs in every room (including a wall-mounted flat screen TV in the living room that can be viewed from the dining table), free wireless Internet access, and free long-distance phone calls. Some furniture and appliances have been replaced in recent years and there appear to be lots of beach toys (which we don't use in March as adult snowbirds). We particularly like this unit in the winter because it is south facing, which permits the sun to warm the unit (specifically the deck/balcony) on cooler days. This was our 4th year in this beautiful, well-furnished condo with 2 balconies overlooking the ocean. When the grandchildren visit for a few days, beach gear is waiting for them in the well-stocked closets. Every room has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished as if the owner prepared it for her favorite guest.
Oceanside has a clean, family-friendly beach and harbor. San Diego and the interesting towns in-between are an easy drive of less than an hour. The commuter train is convenient and fun to use. So much to see and do but best of all is relaxing at the condo, smelling the fresh salt air and walking the beach.

We really enjoyed this property. It had one upstairs master bedroom, and another bedroom and bath downstairs. Each floor had a deck with a beach and ocean view, and the upstairs deck also had a table large enough for outdoor dining.
The location was great, with the beach only a few hundred feet away, and many restaurant choices a short drive or a decent walk away.
The Condo was nicely equipped with a compete kitchen, beach chairs, wireless internet, and a big flat-screen TV which had jacks for a video game.
Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We plan to return soon !

This was our first big trip with our family. We were hoping for a fun relaxing time and thats exactly what we had. The condo was so inviting and fit our family perfectly. The location and comfort of this condo have given us the perfect winter vacation for 6 years. The well-equipped kitchen and separate bedroom and bathroom made it easy to have overnight guests. It's kid-friendly with baby and beach equipment, easy access to the beach, on-site swimming pool plus boardgames in the unit. Sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee, watching surfers and sea life is a favorite, too. Oceanside has the best beach in the county.

We have an infant and a toddler and we really enjoyed our mini escape to the seaside! The condo was a wonderful "home away from home," complete with many ammenities that families with young children would appreciate (ie, highchair, portable cribs, strollers, & even books in the bedside table)!...wonderful! The North Coast Villiage grounds were an oasis by the sea & we all had a wonderful time swimming with our children in the pool and the hot tub. We strolled the beach & enjoyed dinner at the harbor and only wish we would have had more time there! Thank you so much for our opportunity to stay there. I had won this 2 nights stay through a charity event & I had saved it for over a year. How special for us to utilize this get away as a family :) |
