This new five-star, full service resort offers world class sun, sand and surf in a tranquil atmosphere well away from crowds and congestion. The new federal highway takes you to Playa del Sol Grand just 15 minutes after your arrival at the Puerto Vallarta International Airport.
The resort is located on fabulous Flamingos Beach, the most exciting new upscale resort area on the Bay of Banderas. You can walk either direction for miles along one of the largest bays in North America – it may be the most beautiful bay on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. The soft sandy beach descends gradually into warm waters. Dolphins are a common sight and the spectacular humpback whales return to the Bay where they can often be seen jumping or “breaching” within view of the resort each winter from December through March.
Enjoy the enormous infinity pool with swim up bar that borders the beach. Or just relax and read on the large sun deck area. The resort’s nearly 450 feet of beach frontage offers palapas and lounge chairs on the sand where you will be served the food and beverages of your choice as you watch the waves roll in from the Pacific.
With just 60 condominium units completed (Stage I) on more than 8 acres, the resort has the feel of a small, luxury boutique hotel in a unique tropical setting.
The Stage I grounds are landscaped in lush, tropical foliage, reminiscent of a Hawaiian plantation. Take a self-guided tour with unusual plants and trees identified by museum signage.
In keeping with the tropical plantation theme for the resort''s common areas, the interiors are an eclectic blend of Asian, African and Polynesian design features. Solid hardwood furniture is complemented by first quality upholstery fabrics and rugs with organic motifs. Tropical fusion might be a way of describing the overall design theme for the interiors at this beautiful new resort.
