This property is right on the ocean, located on desirable Rackliff Island in St George near the village of Spruce Head Island. This island is accessible via a car-driven causeway. Private, yet close to Rockland and Camden, this spectacular property has incredible views of the ocean. This is a perfect place to unwind in the evening and enjoy the wonderful sunsets.
Outside, the property is spacious and private with great views of the ocean and islands. The waterfront is rocky and slopes into deep water in some areas and when the tide is out there is a small more gradually sloping area to skip stones and admire the sea. Supervision is recommended if you have young children. If you enjoy bird watching, this is a popular gathering place for loons and other water birds. A pair of osprey is frequently seen soaring over their nest across the cove and a bald eagle also lives nearby.
Construction Disclosure-10/24/12 - The Owner of this property has learned that a neighboring landowner will be building a home next to this property over the winter of 2012/13. While the noisy framing and hammering that goes with that activity is expected to be done long before the summer of 2013, there may be some construction activity at the neighboring property through the summer. We believe this disclosure gives renters enough information to make an informed decision about renting this property as well as the Owner believes that any remaining construction in the summer of 2013 will be minimal and have little impact on the peace vacationers seek renting this home.

Cleaning Fee: Yes, for groups of 7 people or more, there is an additional cleaning fee of $100 required. You must select this option during the reservation process.
Security Deposit: Not required, accidental damages are covered under the Damage Waiver Plan included with rental of the cottage

Pricing for rentals that occur in the advertised Off Seasons (5/1/13 - 6/14/13 & 9/6/13 - 12/31/13) for this property are based on 4 people. Additional people, up to the maximum allowed for the property, will be charged an additional $150 per person - per week if a rental occurs in these time-periods. Guest must select this option during the reservation process. |

No Smoking is permitted anywhere on or inside of any of our rental properties nor are those who may partake in tobacco smoking allowed to occupy any of our properties.
Occupancy may not exceed what is posted for each home. Maximum occupancy could include infants and children.
Boat Rentals and other amenities offered through On the Water in Maine Inc. are not available at all the properties we offer for rent. Boat Rentals through Maine Watercraft Rentals Inc. are offered Sunday morning to Friday after 4pm and include free delivery to the property. Check with an agent to find out what boats are available to rent at this property, or, when you process the booking here online, only the boats available for the property will be listed as available to rent.
