Casa Colonial...was once an elegant private home. Our 15 charming guest rooms, lovely dining room, unique library/living room and spacious covered verandas surround lush, flower-filled tropical gardens.
Our friendly, efficient staff continue the Casa´s 30 year tradition of hospitality, information and assistance to create a cultural bridge that will make your Oaxaca experience memorable. You just won´t find this in an ordinary hotel.
We really know Oaxaca...we´ve chosen to live here, and know artists, artisans, city people and interesting foreigners, too. We delight in sharing Oaxaca with you!

 | Although we´re known as a B&B, our wonderful meals include more than just breakfast.) | | | | We serve three delicious meals a day: a hearty American-style breakfast served between 8 and 10; the main meal, comida, served at 2:00 p.m. prepared by Teresa Garcia Garcia, who´s been the Casa´s cook since 1977 (and is featured in Susana Trilling´s new Oaxaca cookbook, Seasons of My Heart), and a light supper served at 8:00 p.m. | | Our rooms with private baths, many with antique furniture, don´t have TV´s or telephones, and aren´t all alike. There is no sign above our purple door. We have limited secure parking, telephone, fax and E-mail service for our guests, but no pool. | | We can arrange excursions with guides, or you can use our maps, information and expertise to plan your own day trips, to experience special events, and to shop for unique folk art or fine art. It´s easy to get around! Our hallmark is personal service; we have an English speaker available to help you from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Most of our staff has been at the Casa for more than 15 years. |

$95 US dollars double with breakfast, $115 with all three meals.
$50 US dollars single with breakfast, $60 with all three meals (two rooms with bath available at this rate).
$80 US dollars single with breakfast, $90 with all three meals (all other rooms).
Student rates available with a two-week minimum stay in the summer, in three single rooms that share a bath.
The price includes all taxes (17%, which most hotels add to their rates).
We cannot accept credit cards or US checks; please bring traveler´s checks or cash.
An advance deposit is required to confirm your reservation, by check to our U.S. agent.
