Kingsbrae Arms features an acre of private historic gardens for the exclusive use and enjoyment of its guests. During the growing season, the herb, vegetable and flower gardens of Kingsbrae Arms yield food for the table and flowers for the rooms throughout the inn. The inn is located in the historic town of St. Andrews, founded by British Loyalists in 1783. Today we are just minutes away from the world class Algonquin Links Golf Course, and within an hour of some of the best fly fishing in Maine.

A stay at Kingsbrae Arms is like spending time at a fine private residence with personal staff in attendance. Every morning after a hearty country breakfast, houseguests wander off to discover the natural and historic riches of the seaside resort of St. Andrews. Each evening a dinner party atmosphere prevails.

Kingsbrae Arms offers a wealth of personal services and intimate comforts. The inn has earned a number of distinctions since it opened in 1996 in addition to becoming the first and only member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux Hotel Group in the Canadian Maritimes. Andrew Harper’s Hideaway Report cited Kingsbrae Arms as a winner of one of it’s coveted “Hideaway of the Year” Awards. Mobil Travel Guide has awarded the inn the prestigious four-star category. The inn is a proud recipient of a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Frommer’s Canada listed the inn as one of “The Best Luxury Hotels and Resorts”. The inn was designated a top Romantic Getaway by The Discerning Traveler. Travel Holiday Magazine presented the inn with an “Insider Award”. And the inn has been judged by the Canadian grading authority to be among the best properties in the country. Year after year, travel writers and journalists have written some awfully nice things about us.

Kingsbrae Arms occupies a sprawling manor house built in 1897. It is located within easy reach of major urban centers in both New England and Quebec.

Downstairs, the public rooms feature an eclectic collection of period furnishings. Among the many antiques, and art objects are an early American weathervane, a pair of Chinese rosewood student chairs, a Latin American Santos, and an English tall case clock. The spacious parlor has two crystal chandeliers, two marble fireplaces, and a bay window giving out to the formal garden. A grand piano sits on a raised nook in the corner. Plush brocade sofas are situated around coffee tables piled with art books and periodicals for all tastes.Next door to the parlor, the linen fold paneled library features silk covered club chairs and a leather chesterfield in front of the brick fireplace. Rough-hewn ceiling beams date back to the origin of the house.

Next door in the dining room, the walls are upholstered in a turn-of-the-century floral garlanded New Brunswick fabric. An English gate-leg table sits under a Russian double tiered, brass chandelier. The fireplace surround is decorated with blue Delft style tiles reproduced in the Portuguese colony of Macao in the early nineteenth century.

Landscaped gardens recreated from the borders of the past, a heated swimming pool, and al fresco dining area for the exclusive use of its guests.

	Luxury one bedroom suites with fireplaces and sweeping ocean and garden views		Carriage House Suite with its own private entrance to the garden.
	The King Suite and The Garden Suite are located in the main house.		Each suite contains a separate sitting room with fireplace, private balcony, and all are situated with sweeping views of gardens and ocean.
	Suites are fully air-conditioned, with fingertip climate controls.		Suites feature en suite four-piece marble appointed sumptuous bathrooms with oversized cast iron tubs or 6-foot whirlpools built for two. Showers have fingertip controlled pressure and temperature balancing with combination pulsating/rainmaking showerheads.
	All suite bathrooms are individually heated to meet the guests preference for comfort.		Each suite features king size four poster draped canopy beds and period furniture and artwork from the eighteenth and nineteenth century state of the art communications including direct dial telephones, voice mail, and data ports for direct access to faxing and the Internet, cable television, special soap and bath collections, chocolate truffles, fresh flowers, feather and down comforters and pillows, waffle weave sauna robes, layered window treatments
	Kingsbrae Arms also features five spacious guest rooms, The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Duke, The Duchess, and The Princess Royal with fireplaces all situated with sweeping views of town, gardens, and ocean. These rooms are fully air-conditioned, with fingertip climate controls.
